To finish a work? To finish a picture? What nonsense! To finish it means to be through with it, to kill it, to rid it of its soul, to give it its final blow … the coup de grace for the painter as well as for the picture.
Pablo Picasso (1881–1973), Artist. Quoted in: Jaime Sabartés, Picasso: portraits et souvenirs, ch. 7 (1946).

Finished Works

The Floor Plan ChallengeTM was an idea that I had come up with, but did not pursue, until the Floor Plan Tutorial was published by 'Lou' aka: Allyn Bowker. The results were 20 various floor plans, with Inns and Taverns topping the list. This was followed by the 1st Annual Floor Plan ChallengeTM, 1FPC. The Challenge was wrapped up with the help of Allyn Bowker. The second Challenge did not take place as planned due to a decision on my part to change the Format. I hope to return it in the new Format soon.

The Symbol ChallengeTM was my brainchild following the events of 9/11 to bring the world together in doing something constructive following all the destruction caused by a few. There was so much dissension that I decided to promote something that hopefully showed what could be done if we worked together. The CC2 Mail List became my forum, since I knew that people from many countries and backgrounds were represented on the List. Each year I have sponsored another Challenge. The results for all the Symbol Challenges and the related Files can be found here.
